Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
The Fair Labor Standards Act contains provisions and standards concerning record keeping, minimum wages, overtime pay and child labor. The Act is administered by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division with respect to private employment, State and local government employment, and Federal employees.
